Bailee

Bailee Elizabeth Masters was born 10 weeks early, weighing only 2.5 pounds, and was in the NICU for over 5 weeks. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy near her first birthday. Bailee has significant motor delays as well as some cognitive delays.

Now 21 months old, Bailee has shown great improvements with her HBOT. After her 1st round of treatments at Charlotte Metro Hyperbarics we are more than happy with her results. Although she isn’t 100% independently sitting, her head, neck and back muscles are so much stronger. She is sitting very well and she has rolled over countless times since HBOT. She is using her left hand and arm (which was very limited before) and seems to interact and connect better with her surrounding. Bailee is also scooting, or as we call “worming” across our floor on her back to get to the dog so she can pet them. She loves to play and interacts so much more with the people and the world around her. She jabbers all the time telling us countless stories in baby talk. Her improvements may be small to some, but they are the world to us!

We are very excited about her progress and cannot wait to come back to Charlotte for more treatments. The staff was absolutely wonderful! They were very supportive and make you feel like family while you are there. You can tell they all really care about their patients and that they love being able to bring this wonderful treatment to as many people as possible.
